He led the Warhawks swim team to two state championships (1995 and 1997) and lettered from 1994 to 1997, capturing all-conference and all-state individual honors each year. In addition, Ben set many school records, including the 100 butterfly and 200 individual medley.

Ben continued to dominate the swimming pool at the University of Arizona, as he was selected a four-time NCAA All-American. He went on to serve as a volunteer assistant coach at the university, helping the team capture 7th place in 2002.

Post college, Ben moved to San Diego, Calif., where he worked in commercial real estate brokerage doing sales and leasing of industrial properties. In 2010, he set off to travel the world and is currently back in San Diego looking for his next opportunity.
