Homecoming

 

This year's theme is "THIS IS HOMECOMING."

 Congratulations to this year's Homecoming Court:

  • Senior Ladies:  Amanda Kuehn, Lindsey Phelps, Mackenzie Cook, and Jamie Peschke
  • Senior Gentlemen:  Brady Steinbach, Gabe Tauscher, Tony Seonbuchner, and Nick Kohn
  • Junior Ladies: Megan Ritzert and Ashley Schwark
  • Junior Gentlemen:  Andrew Reichl and Tim Banks. 
  • Sophomores: Kyle Wehness and Heather Bong
  • Freshmen: Ross Broderick and Megan Peschke

The following is the 2008 Homecoming timeline.

MONDAY: 9/29
  • Luncheon sponsored by the Student Senate for Arrowhead Staff  at North and  South Teachers' Rooms.

Spirit Theme:  Pajama Day
TUESDAY: 9/30
  •  The School Store will be open from 5-7 pm to sell Spiritwear for Homecoming.

Spirit Theme:  Clash/Crazy Hair OR Toga/Gladiator Day
WEDNESDAY:  10/1 Spirit Theme:  Superhero OR Classic Couples Day
THURSDAY:  10/2

Pep Rally:

  • All School Pep Rally at 1:45 on the Football Field (weather permitting)
  • National Recognition of CATS by USA Today
  • COME BRING YOUR AHS PRIDE!

Spirit Theme:  AHS Spirit Wear
FRIDAY: 10/3  

Parade:

  • Float Building in the Bus Barns
  • Please be at the parade site by 5:15 pm.
  • Parade begins at 5:45 pm, starting at Church Street to Capitol Drive, down to North Ave. to  Arrowhead. 
  • Any  club or team wanting to be in the parade should hand in the parade entry  form to Michael Williamson.
 

 Burning "A"

  • 6:55 p.m., Football Field (not on the field turf)

Football Game

  • 7:00 p.m.  Arrowhead vs Waukesha South. 
  • A great half-time show featuring the Award-Winning AHS  Band and outstanding fireworks. 
  • Court Recognition
  • Bring the whole family.
SATURDAY:  10/4

Dance:  
  • Last Chance to buy tickets:  9:30-11:00 at the North Campus Commons
  • 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm
  • Coronation at 10:15 pm
  • Parent's Entrance is Door 11, starting at 9:45

Ticket Sales Information:

  • Students can purchase tickets in the lunchroom during their lunch hours only.    
  • Sept. 22 - Sept. 26 are $12 each.  
  • Sept. 29 - October 2 are $15 each. 
  • Tickets will also be sold on Saturday morning from 9:30-11:00 in the North Campus Commons.
  • No tickets will be sold at the door at the dance.  
  • Tickets are non-refundable for any reason.


Dance Rules:

  • If a student is brining a guest from another school, they must have a guest form (link below) completed and turn into either office  by 2:30 on Thursday, October 2.  
  • At the dance the students need their ticket and student ID to enter.  
  • No stilettoes will be allowed on the gym floor.  
  • There will be a mandatory coat check monitored by parents in the commons area.
  • Students may access their things from the coat check once throughout the dance.
