Key Club

Key Club Description:
Arrowhead’s Key Club is the largest group in the school, state, and world! We are the champions of volunteering! Key Club provides each member with:
·         opportunities to do several different types of service each month
·         build character
·        develop leadership
·        develop mentors with assistance and counsel from the Hartland Kiwanis Club, our local sponsor
The primary aim of this group is to serve the school and community while giving the student members a perspective on the world that encourages a lifelong commitment to service. Key Club operates not only on a local level, but on a district and international level as well.
Member Expectation:
-       Attend all service projects you commit to
-       Complete a membership application and pay dues
-       Provide ideas and input throughout the year to help the club’s efforts
-       Attend the 20-30 minute meetings the second Thursday of each month in North Campus Junior Study Hall whenever possible
-       Help the club reach our goal to improve the community through service while developing into competent, capable and caring leaders
Summary of Benefits:
The great thing about Key Club is that there is no point system, grade requirements, or a penalty for you not being able to appear at a meeting or every service project. All we ask of you is to attend the meetings you are able to, show up and do a quality job at the projects you sign up for, and represent yourself and our group positively. Arrowhead High School’s Key Club is built around the realization that athletics, jobs, and other commitments can make for a busy schedule so we are very flexible – do what you can when you can! HOWEVER, do not use this as an excuse to be an inactive member. Your help is essential to make Key Club a success.
