Welcome to the Boys Baseball Team!
The Arrowhead High School Boys Baseball program participates in the Classic 8 Conference. Our program consists of four teams this year: Varsity, Junior Varsity and the Freshman Blue and Red teams. Tryouts begin mid May and the season concludes with the WIAA state tournament at the end of July. We play a tough conference schedule during the week, along with some competitive non conference games on the weekends.
The baseball fields are located between North and South campus just west of the football field and track. Freshman and Junior Varsity teams practice/play home games at the Junior Varsity baseball diamond. Varsity games are played at O’Driscoll Field. Practices generally run 2 – 2 ½ hours in length. Practice times vary depending on the squad the player is on.
Our first day of tryouts is May 15th. All students must have the appropriate physical or brown card on file in order to participate. No exceptions.
Equipment Needed
- Outdoor Baseball Cleats and Indoor Tennis Shoes
- Baseball Glove
- Water Bottle
Uniforms
- Uniforms will be handed out the first week of practice
- Cost for socks and baseball hat is $25
