Arrowhead Union High School District

The Booster Band and Orchestra Parents organization (BBOP) is the place to be if your child is involved in band or orchestra at Arrowhead High School. It is a volunteer organization made up of families who offer support to instrumental music directors, provide recognition of student achievements, offer assistance at music events (Lock-a-Thon, Hot Chili/Cool Jazz, marching band activities) and help fund raise on behalf of the program. BBOP also awards the Gib Weigel Music Scholarship through the Arrowhead Community Foundation.  All band and string families are automatic BBOP members. Family meetings are held throughout the year and are promoted via e-mail.  This year, we are looking for a band/orchestra parent representative for each class. Please contact Mr. Polancich or Mrs. Zwirlein if interested.

If you do, you can help B-BOP raise funds in one, two or three VERY SIMPLE ways.

J   PICK ‘N SAVE:    please change your ‘WE SAVE’ account number to the B-BOP #:  034450

J   PIGGLY WIGGLY:  SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS.  Send them with your AHS student or drop them off in the school office and ask to have them put in Mr. Polancich’s mailbox.

J   SENTRY FOODS:  SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS, ASK FOR A STICKER (Funds for Friends) to be put on your receipt at check-out.  Once again, Send them with your AHS student or drop them off in the school office and ask to have them put in Mr. Polancich’s mailbox.

J   BBOP uses money received from these funds to support several programs, activities and services that benefit Arrowhead instrumental students, such as marching band rehearsal dinners, summer picnic, refreshments after/during football games, homecoming dinner, marching band equipment, and awards dinner.  Thank you in advance for helping support this very worthy cause.
