Boys Ice Hockey

Arrowhead High School is fortunate to have the finest on campus ice facility in Wisconsin. The Mullett Center contains multiple locker rooms, a separate Varsity locker room, weight room and video equipment.  The Junior Varsity practices each morning and the Varsity is on the ice from 4:15-5:15  pm each weekday afternoon during the season.   Each team also has one hour of dry land-weight training.

Carl Valimont is in his seventh year as head coach.  Carl had a successful college hockey career at U-Mass Lowell and spent 11 years as a professional hockey player.  He is aided by four assistants including a goalie coach.
Off-season conditioning is strongly encouraged.  Tryouts and practice begin in early November with games beginning shortly thereafter.   The season ends in early March with the State Championship.  The Varsity and Junior Varsity teams each carry 18-21 boys and play the maximum 20 game regular season.   Both teams compete in the Classic 8 Conference and fill out their Non-Conference games to provide one of the strongest schedules in the state.
