Arrowhead Union High School District

Our Mission Statement:

To support Arrowhead High School and its athletic teams by promoting school spirit, motivate fan support and provide inspiration and enthusiasm.  We will promote the ideas of good sportsmanship, personal integrity and accountability, team cooperation and community activities.

Team members cheer for football and home basketball games, compete at various venues, and teach cheer skills at our youth Cheer Clinic in the summer and fall. We participate in volunteer projects throughout the year where our athletes gain valuable skills and insight to their community. We have summer practices, car washes and will be attending UCA cheer camp as a team during the summer. We also go on team-building trips throughout the year.

There are currently (2) levels of participation: JV and Varsity.  Our season runs from mid June through Mid march with a few weeks off in between football and basketball. Practices are held after school 2-4 times per week and cheer in 1-2 games per week. Cheerleaders compete in two to five competitions per year. Competitions are usually held on Saturdays or Sundays during the months of December-February.  A cheerleader can only choose to cheer for one season (football or basketball) if he or she is participating in another sport.
