Arrowhead Union High School District

ProHealth is proud to be the official sports medicine provider for Arrowhead High School. We have long enjoyed our relationship with your school and community over the past decade, and we look forward to continuing to provide quality health care services for years to come.

Athletic Trainers (ATs) are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians. The services provided by ATs comprise prevention, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions. Students who want to become certified athletic trainers must earn a degree from an accredited athletic training curriculum. Accredited programs include formal instruction in areas such as injury/illness prevention, first aid and emergency care, assessment of injury/illness, human anatomy and physiology, therapeutic modalities, and nutrition. Classroom learning is enhanced through clinical education experiences. More than 70 percent of certified athletic trainers hold at least a master’s degree.

"It is with great pleasure that we return Chyla Edwards, LAT, CSCS as the Head Athletic Trainer and Rhianna Farrell, LAT as the Assistant Athletic Trainer.  Chyla Edwards has a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Chyla also specializes in concussion treatment and management. Rhianna Farrell graduated from Carroll University with a B.S. degree  in Athletic Training. In addition to coverage of Varsity home games, our athletic trainers will be on-site at the school each Monday through Friday from 2:30-5:30 PM. Athletes and/or parents with questions are urged to stop in the athletic training room and see one of our staff after school or contact by phone to arrange a visit outside of normal hours. Please note the contact information listed at the bottom of this sheet.
