Course Description: TITLE: Yearbook 1&2 (North Campus)

The Yearbook class is offered to sophomores, juniors and seniors who are interested in writing, photography, layout design, editing, advertising, and meeting deadlines.   The class will feature instruction and practice in the rudiments of photography. Students will also learn to integrate art, photographs, writing, and graphics in page design. An introduction to the sale and design of advertising will be included.  Many of the opportunities and responsibilities of work in the publishing field will be simulated. Entrance to the class will be limited to those planning to take the class the full year. The criteria for admission will be skill in art, English, or business, and dependability. 
PREREQUISITE: Application available from the instructor, whose consent is required.
 
Yearbook does not qualify as an English or Fine Arts credit for graduation or college admission but qualifies as a general elective.
