French Club

French Club activities are scheduled periodically throughout the year and are open to any student in any French class.  Watch and listen for upcoming activities in your French class.

Upcoming Activities:

Trip to France 2015

April 2-April 11, 2015.  Cost $4073 + spending money if registered after May 1, 2014 with a $200 deposit.    You may still register for the trip!!!!  See Mademoiselle for registration materials.

Brewer Game with French students from LCS exchange

Monday, April 20th.  Leave AHS at 5:00 p.m. and return by 10:00 p.m.  $20 includes bus and ticket to Brewers vs. Reds game.  Money and permission slip are due by Friday, February 6th.


le Concours oral

Regional competition: Saturday, March 7th at Nicolet High School.  State competition: Saturday, May 16th at Arrowhead.  Compete against other students of your level in one of the following categories: Poetry, Prose, Conversation, Théâtre de Chambre, Reader's Theater or Music.  Cost to participate $8.  See Mademoiselle or presentation below for more information.

French Honor Society

Students who have a 3.5 gradepoint in their French classes and a 3.0 overall gradepoint will be invited to join French Honor Society after completing the first semester of French III.  To be eligible for membership, students must also have participated in 3 French Club activities during their AHS career.  Honor Society members are expected to continue their study of French through their senior year and to remain active participants in French Club activities.
