Arrowhead Vision and the Role of Director of Learning
Welcome to the Arrowhead High School District Website. I am honored and excited to serve as the Director of Learning at Arrowhead High School. I am located in the Office of Student and Staff Learning at South Campus.
The mission of Arrowhead High School, " Empower students to be engaged, confident, continuous learners who utilize the essential skills to collaborate and contribute within the local and global community." Arrowhead High School truly has a "Tradition of Excellence" and we continuously strive to maintain this tradition and grow as an organization. Arrowhead High School has a world-class teaching staff, devoted to providing innovative and engaging learning opportunities for all students. Our innovative programs, rigorous course selections, quality instruction and assessment are designed to prepare students for college and career.
My role as the Director of Learning is to collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, school board members, parents, and students to ensure that we are living our mission and striving toward the vision of being an "educational leader in creating pathways for students to embrace the opportunities of tomorrow".
As Director of Learning, I lead and support many educational program and initiatives. Leading at Arrowhead means facilitating a process with a team that will lead to positive changes and student achievement. Arrowhead High School values our climate and culture of collaboration. Although the following initiatives and tasks are "housed" with the Director of Learning, the changes, progress, and accomplishments are always result of a team effort.
