Brian Gilmore
A three-year starter on the Warhawks varsity basketball team, Brian Gilmore was the leading scorer in AHS history for more than 15 years. He was a three-time Braveland All-Conference player, and as a senior, he captured Honorable-Mention All-State honors. Also as a senior, Brian was the leading scorer in Waukesha county and he represented Arrowhead in the WBCA All-Star game.
At 6’5”, Brian went on to play for Bo Ryan at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where he was a three-time letter winner and two-time member of the WSUC scholastic honor roll. He was the starting center on Platteville's National Championship team in 1991 and the NCAA Division III third-place team in 1992.
Coach Ryan was quoted as saying, "Brian is one of the more intelligent
and hard working players I've had the good fortune to coach. He has developed to his full potential as well as anyone I've seen..."
Brian was also an All-Conference football player for AHS his junior and senior years, as well as Honorable-Mention All-State his senior year.
Brian lives in Nashotah with his wife Stephanie and their three children: Grace (14), Carter (12), and Libby (6). He is a building contractor and craftsmanship mason for his own company, Gilmore Builders.
