Requirements:

The American Legion of Wisconsin is offering several different scholarships with different requirements and awards. There is a detailed list with additional information available in the North Campus Counseling Office.  Scholarship deadlines vary with dates between February 9, 2019 and July 15, 2019.  Please refer to the website for specific dates for a scholarship.

Wisconsin Antique Dealers Memorial Scholarship 2018/2019 11/26/2018 $500.00
Requirements:

The scholarship is open to all Waukesha County public high school seniors planning to attend a university, community college or technical school located in Wisconsin.

Applicants must submit an essay from one of two topics: 1) History and Preservation of our Material Culture:  "Why is it important to understand and preserve your family's heirlooms?" or 2) For Historical Site Volunteers "Explain the important role of volunteers at historic sites or museums, and their positive impact in preserving local heritage".

Greater Milwaukee Association of Legal Professionals (GMALP) 2018/2019 12/15/2018 $300.00
Requirements:

The Greater Milwaukee Association of Legal Professionals is sponsoring a scholarship for a student in the Greater Milwaukee area planning to enter (or enrolled in) an educational program associated with the legal field at an accredited local college with special emphasis on prospective legal secretaries, legal assistants or paralegals. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of merit, ability, and need.

$300. with the possibility of eligibility for other scholarships from the state level association.

Engineers Foundation of Wisconsin Scholarships 2018/2019 12/17/2018 $2,000
Requirements:

The scholarships indicated are available to graduating students who plan to study engineering. Each applicant will be considered for all of the scholarships.

The Engineering Foundation of Wisconsin Scholarship:  4 scholarships, each $2,000.

The WSPE Past Presidents Scholarship:  1 scholarship, $2000.

The Behling Scholarship:  2 scholarship, $2000.

The Louis C. Geiger Scholarship:  3 scholarships, each $2000

The Yu-Hwa Terry Ni FREE Program Scholarship:  1 or 2 scholarships, $2000.

Alliance for Young Artists and Writers 2018/2019 1/7/2019 (16) $10,000.00
Requirements:

Scholarship is open to teachers and students in the 7th thru 12th grades.  The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, in Affiliation with the Alliance of Young Artists and Writers sponsor this competiton.

UW Stevens Point Trytten Scholarship 2018/2019 1/31/2019 $4000 over 4 years
Requirements:

The Department of Chemistry at UWSP urges qualified students to apply for the Trytten Scholarship, awarded annually to an incoming freshman who intends to major in Chemistry at UWSP .  The scholarship is named after the late Professor Trytten, long time faculty member and leader of the Department.

Applicants must declare chemistry as their major at UWSP at the time of application, have at least a 3.5 GPA and demonstrated a capacity and potential for excellence in the field of chemistry.

To Apply:  1) Complete all sections of the Student Application Form,  2) Have a letter of recommendation submitted by your high school chemistry teacher,  3)  Have your counselor submit the High School Recommendation Form and your transcript.

Awards:

$4,000 disbursed over 4 years.

Wisconsin Alumni Association UW-Madison Scholarship 2018/2019 3/4/2019 $1500.00
Requirements:

Applicant must be a graduating senior from an accredited Waukesha County high school that will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison beginning in the fall semester of 2020.

Students must submit:

1) The completed and typed application form

2) Transcripts with seven (7) semesters of your grades, copies accepted

3) Two letters of recommendation.

Kohler Credit Union 2018/2019 3/9/2019 $10,000
Requirements:

Must be a high school senior currently enrolled and have a CUM GPA of 3.25.  Students must plan to attend a 4 year college or University in Wisconsin.  Student should have achievement and high standards in scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship, and involvement in school community and activities.  

Student or parent must be a Kohler Credit Union Member prior to 9/1/18

Awards:

Renewable $2500 scholarship for up to a total of four years if the student maintains a 3.0 in college.
