Arrowhead DECA Chapter Earns 'Chapter of the Year'
The Arrowhead DECA Chapter earned the 2011 “Chapter of the Year” for Southeastern Wisconsin. The Arrowhead DECA (an Association of Marketing Students) chapter competed against 30+ schools at the 2011 Southeastern Wisconsin DECA Career Development Conference at Kettle Moraine high school on Saturday January 8. Forty eight students from Arrowhead competed with over 800 students throughout southeastern Wisconsin in various Marketing events. Arrowhead DECA earned 70+ medals. AHS marketing students had to prepare two formal presentations and took two written events in their particular marketing event. Business people from various marketing and business fields judged each student on their marketing and communication skills.
