It is strongly recommended that every student take four years of high school mathematics. The
maintenance of basic skills, as well as the development of new concepts, requires each student to select
a four-year sequence that best meets his/her needs. Most of the public universities in Wisconsin require
mathematics through Advanced Algebra. Arrowhead’s graduation requirement is two years.
A scientific calculator is required for each mathematics course. A graphics calculator is required for
Advanced Algebra courses and beyond.
A grade of C or better and teacher recommendation are the prerequisites for the next course in the sequence.
