Welcome to Arrowhead Union High School, “Home of the Warhawks”. I’m excited that you have taken the time to browse our activities page. Arrowhead has a proud and rich tradition of both Co-Curricular’s and Academics. Our school has been named the winner of the WSN Cup Large School the past four years. This prestigious award takes into account how our team(s) did during the WIAA state tourney series.
“Something for Everyone” is our motto here at Arrowhead. Last year we had 1,325 students participate in 40 offerings of club extra-curricular activities, 1,402 participate in 38 athletic extra-curricular activities which include the WIAA, club sports, intramural sport activities, Special Olympics, and Power-lifting. We also had 670 students participate in 15 offerings of music extra-curricular.
Our students are very involved in AHS. They take pride in everything they do here. Last year we had 59% of our students participate in extra-curricular’s. We had 62.5% participate in athletics and athletic clubs and 29.9% participated in music extra-curricular’s. The involvement of our students is one major component as to what makes Arrowhead a great school.
In closing, we are very proud of our academic recognition of our student-athletes. Of our 535 graduates last year 77 boys and 100 girls had a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better. Of those boys and girls 58.4% of the boys and 62% of the girls were varsity letter winners.
