|
Having been a competitive ski racer growing up, Bob Mallow knew a thing or two about success on the slopes. A graduate of Arrowhead, Bob decided to take over and expand the AHS ski program and success instantly followed. He coached the Warhawks from 1991-1998. Here are some of his coaching accomplishments:
Girls’ team
Conference Champions – 1992-1997
State Champions – 1992, 1993 and 1995
Boys’ team
Conference Champions – 1991-1998
State Champions – 1991, 1992, 1997 and 1998
What made his teams so good? Bob demanded results and raised the bar for the AHS ski team. He knew there was talent at Arrowhead and he helped the team break new records and scale new heights. For his coaching efforts and accomplishments, Bob received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wisconsin State High School Ski Association.
Did you know… Bob excelled as an AHS athlete and was a Varsity letter winner in basketball, football and baseball (MVP senior year). Bob played football at UW-Oshkosh and was a 3-year letter winner for the Titans.
Bob enjoyed coaching his three daughters at Arrowhead, along with many other talented skiers. He says he has truly been blessed with a fun and supportive “ski family” in this area and loves seeing the AHS ski program continue to dominate year after year. Currently, Bob is an American Family Insurance agent, and he and his wife Kerry live in Hartland.
