Zach Leahy

As a senior in the 2002-03 school year, Zach Leahy completed the daily double. That year, he became one of the few Arrowhead athletes ever to be named to two All-State teams.
Zach made news first on the football field, earning All-State honors as a defensive back. To this day, he ranks as one of the top defensive backs in school history. He added all kinds of other awards to his ledger card, being named first team Classic 8 Conference, named to the All-County first team and the Journal Sentinel first team. He made the conference and All-County first teams both as a junior and senior. Zach also was a Shrine Bowl participant as a senior.
Several months later, Zach turned in another terrific season on the basketball court. Once again, the honors poured in, including first team in the Classic 8 and first team All-County, plus he was named to the All-State team by both the WBCA and the AP. Zach was also the Player of the Year his senior season in the Classic 8 and was a participant in the Shrine All-Star basketball game.
After leaving Arrowhead, Zach continued to excel at the collegiate level, playing football and basketball at Stevens Point. He made a position move in football, from defensive back to wide receiver, and played on the team his freshman year. Zach was also a part of the Pointers back-to-back basketball National Championships in Division 3. Those titles came in 2004 and 2005.
Zach transferred to the University of Wisconsin Madison his junior year to focus on studies. He graduated in 2008, moved to Chicago and works for Mintel, a market research firm focused on consumer and new product data. He presently leads the account management team at Mintel.
Zach married his wife Jodi in 2014.
