Donny Eicher
As a senior on the Arrowhead football team, Donny Eicher captured just about every accolade a high school football player can acquire. First-Team All-Conference and All-State honors. The Wisconsin Player of the Year. All-American. And the 6’3” linebacker led the AHS football team to State Championship titles in 1993 (one loss) and 1994 (undefeated).
“One of the best football players in school history.”
- Chuck Delsman, Lake Country Reporter
“Best linebacker I’ve ever coached.”
- Coach Tom Taraska
In addition, Donny was a stellar track runner. He was part of the 4x400 relay record-winning team, and as a senior, he was named captain of the track team. He also ran the 200M in 22.4 seconds, which earned him 2nd place in the conference.
All that athletic talent helped Donny receive a scholarship to play football at UW-Madison. There, he was a 3-year letter winner and was part of the team that won the 1999 Rose Bowl. His team also participated in the 1998 Outback Bowl and the 1997 Copper Bowl. Unfortunately, Donny was plagued by numerous injuries throughout his college career.
Donny has been in the staffing industry for the last 10 years and is currently the VP of Operations for Keystone Staffing in Wauwatosa. He and his wife Kristina have been married for 11 years, and they have two daughters: Paige (10) and Payton (5). Since college, Donny has coached and refereed football at the middle school and high school levels.
