Kristen Neidhoefer
Who was the first female State Champion swimmer from Arrowhead? Kris Neidhoefer won two WIAA individual State titles in 1986 and two more in 1987. She lettered all four years as a Warhawk swimmer, and received the Coach’s Award, MVP and Captain honors.
Did you know…Kristen was the first female swimmer from Arrowhead
to receive a full scholarship. She had eight full-ride offers.
In 1988, Kristen was an Olympic Trial participant in the 200 IM. Next, she began swimming for Arizona State where she was ranked #1 in the nation in the 200 IM during her freshman year.
Kristen is currently working towards finishing her teaching credentials in Spanish at Cal State Northridge. She also in the assistant coach for Westlake High School’s boys and girls swim teams, both of which are undefeated.
