Nicole Morse
Athlete Girls Golf & Basketball
It didn't take long for freshman Nicole Morse to make her mark on the Arrowhead girls golf team. The day she showed up for that first practice in August of 1999, she quickly joined the starting lineup and four years later became one of the best and most successful players in school history.
By the time she graduated in 2003, Nicole qualified for the prestigious WIAA Division 1 State tournament all four years, becoming the first player in school history to accomplish that feat. She capped off her high school career by being named first-team All-Conference all four years, Conference Player of the Year for three consecutive years, and All-State first-team her junior and senior seasons in 2001 and 2002.
As a freshman, Nicole finished 12th at the state meet individually and the Warhawks placed second in team scoring. As a sophomore competing individually, she placed sixth. In her junior season in 2001, the Warhawks placed fourth in team scoring and Nicole finished second in individual scoring. As a senior, she took third playing as an individual. Those finishes rank her second in school history at the state tournament, surpassed only by 2019 graduate Emily Lauterbach.
Nicole also was a starter for the girls basketball team her final two years at Arrowhead.
After graduating, Nicole earned a scholarship to play golf for the Wisconsin Badgers. She played at UW-Madison her first three years, before graduating in 2007.
Nicole is married to her husband Jason and has four children, Gavin, Griffin, Hudson and Hendrix. She is the HR director at The Club at Lac La Belle in Oconomowoc.
