Bob Larsen
When it comes to team sports, a successful coach often has a topnotch assistant coach. Bob Larsen is the first assistant coach to be named to the Arrowhead Hall of Fame. Bob was the offensive coordinator under Hall of Fame head football coach Tom Taraska.
During Bob’s 10 years at AHS, he helped lead the Warhawks to three State Championships (1993, 1994 and 1996) and was named the Wisconsin Assistant Coach of the Year in 1998.
In 1982, Bob was inducted into the
Wisconsin High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame.
In addition to helping the AHS football team, Bob also was an assistant track coach. While at Arrowhead, he enjoyed working in the Social Studies Department, plus with the school’s coaches, athletes and students.
Did you know…prior to Arrowhead, Bob was a high school head football coach with an impressive record: 99 wins, 54 losses, 3 ties, seven conference championships and four undefeated seasons. Bob also served in the US Army from 1952-1954 and attended Carthage College where he lettered in tennis, basketball and football.
