Interested in math? Like being challenged? Enjoy problem solving? Math Team may be for you.
There are 6 Math League Tests given during the year, one each month, October through March. These tests are 30 minutes long and consist of 5 problems of varying difficulty. Tests are given before school from 6:45-7:15 a.m.
There are 4 Math Meets during the school year. They are usually after school at another school. Typically we leave around 3:00 p.m. and return around 6:00 p.m. You will compete at the JV or Varsity level, depending on what math class you are enrolled in. At the meet you take 3 individual tests, each 10 minutes long and then 1 team test with your group for 15 minutes. Points are earned for each problem you get correct. Arrowhead has done well in the past and we hope to continue to do so!
If you are interested in participating, talk to your math teacher and listen to the announcements for dates of upcoming Math League Tests and Math Meets. You can also contact the advisor,
