Chartwells School Dining Services proudly provides meals for over 2,100 AHS students daily. Nourishing students is not only our business, it's our commitment to the communities in which we serve. Offer vs Serve and what constitutes a full meal
Offer versus Serve (OVS) is a provision in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program that allows students to decline some of the food offered.

At lunch, schools must offer all five required food components in at least the minimum required amounts. Of these, students must take at least three of the offerings and one of those must be at least a 1/2 cup of either a fruit or a vegetable. The components are:
- meat/meat alternates
- grains
- fruit
- vegetables
- milk
At breakfast, schools must offer at least four food items from the three required components and students must select at least three food items for a reimbursable meal. The components are:
- grains (with optional meat/meat alternates)
- juice/fruit/vegetable
- milk

Qualifying for Free and Reduced lunch may make you eligible for free or reduced book fees, athletic fee, applicable classroom fees, and Title I grant opportunities at Arrowhead High School. In order to apply for free or reduced fees you will need to fill out the Sharing Information with Other Programs form.

Meal Charge Policy
Summer EBT: If your child(ren) qualify for free or reduced price meals this school year, they are also eligible to receive Summer EBT benefits for this upcoming summer. Summer EBT provides funds for each eligible child to help with costs of food during the summer months.
