The Arrowhead DECA chapter is already preparing for the 2017 Hawkfest which is Friday September 22, 2017. The event runs from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm prior, during, and after the Arrowhead football game which is also the homecoming football game. Music, games, rides, food, and FUN are a part of the event. The marketing students planning this annual event for over 6,000 people in attendance throughout the Lake Country area. If you like Summerfest you probably will like "HAWKFEST". Last year proceeds of the event went towards Arrowhead DECA, Waukesha County Sheriff's K-9 Unit, and MDA Summer Camp (Muscular Dystrophy Association). Proceeds in the past went towards MDA summer camp, HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society) and the Arrowhead DECA Chapter. Inflatables, Laser Tag, Culver's, Rocky Rococos, and The Picnic Basket plus much much more added to the event. The Hartland Music entertainment stage where people display their talents, was back even bigger and better from 4:30 - 8:30 pm next to the Piggly Wiggly Food Area where the Arrowhead girls basketball program will be serving food along with some games. Entertainment include Elation Dance Studio. The stage had live music from local bands, young vocalists from local grade schools, high school bands, and some talent from the Arrowhead dance team. If that wasn't enough numerous local mascots entertained everyone throughout the DECA Fun Zone. This year new entertainment will be offered including a bigger music/entertainment stage. Hawkfest t-shirts can be purchased as well for $15.00 in the school store and local Arrowhead grade schools. Wristbands are $15.00 which includes all attractions except for the Advernture Rock climing which is $5.00 (10 tickets). We thank all the sponsors and fans that supported this event.
