Wings is our Freshmen Orientation experience you will not want to miss! Almost all of our incoming freshmen attend Wings, though it is not mandatory. This fall, Wings will run in the mornings of Wednesday, August 19th, through Friday, August 21st. Lunch will be provided to students each day. On Thursday, August 20th, parents are invited to attend informational sessions in the South Campus library.
Throughout all three (3) days, Wings provides incoming freshmen with:

Tours of the District campus and ability to walk their fall schedules

Meeting their Hawks Nest and participating in community building activities with other incoming freshmen

Familiarizing themselves with their upperclassmen mentors

Obtaining their school-issued Chromebooks and learning student organizational tools

Receiving general overviews of student services, academic programs, institutional policies, etc.

Learning AHS core values: Be Appropriate, Be Respectful, Be Responsible
Click here for information on enrollment at Arrowhead High School. Students need to be enrolled and approved to attend Arrowhead in order to register for Wings and fall classes.
Incoming families already enrolled at Arrowhead should be checking their emails for newsletters / information throughout this summer. Guardians can sign up for Wings and personalize your freshman's experiences through Skyward's "Arena Scheduling" in the beginning of August.
Lastly, we are here to guide and support the parents as our new freshmen take flight in our building! While freshmen are attending Wings, parent informational sessions will be held in the South Campus Library from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2026. This year, our guardians will attend three (3) informational sessions and hear from the Director of Student Services and Director of Curriculum, the Director of Library Media & Technology, and the Associate Principal and School Resource Officers.
