Wings is our Freshmen Orientation experience you will not want to miss! Almost all our incoming freshmen attend Wings, though it is not mandatory. More information on Wings for the graduating class of 2030 will be released in winter/spring of this school year.
Throughout all three days, Wings provides incoming freshmen with:

Tours of the District campus and ability to walk their fall schedules

Meeting their Hawks Nest and participating in community building activities with other incoming freshmen

Familiarizing themselves with their upperclassmen mentors

Obtaining their school-issued Chromebooks and learning student organizational tools

Receiving general overviews of student services, academic programs, institutional policies, etc.

Learning AHS core values: Be Appropriate, Be Respectful, Be Responsible
Incoming families should be checking their emails for newsletters / information in the spring / summer of 2026. Guardians can sign up for Wings and personalize your freshman's experiences through Skyward's "Arena Scheduling" in the beginning of August 2026.
