Flexible Scheduling Option (FSO) allows students to take one less class each semester or one less study hall each semester and either arrive one period later to school or leave one period earlier at the end of the day. Extenuating circumstances need administrative approval. Specific eligibility criteria are identified on the FSO contract.
FSO QUALIFICATIONS

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0

Must not have any F’s

Must not have 2 or more D’s

Be on track to graduate: 26 credits by end of the 10th grade school year 39 credits by end of the 11th grade school year

No pre-expulsion, expulsion, suspension or school-related police citations

Not received an attendance letter

Not exceed 4 tardies to second period (first period FSO students)
Student’s full-time status may be affected if they become ineligible for FSO. This could impact WIAA athletics, Social Security benefits, automobile insurance, etc.
