Mission Statement:
The Arrowhead Libraries exist to:
- promote student academic and personal growth through access to information and technology in a variety of appropriate formats
- aid teachers in professional development through information and technology access and training opportunities
- provide leadership through teaching and contributing to curricular and technology initiatives
- promote library media and technology programs through support of library media and technology training programs; active participation in local, regional and state organizations; cooperating with public libraries; and communication with the community in general
Vision Statement: To prepare all learners for success in the 21st Century
The Arrowhead High School Libraries hold nearly 25,000 books and over 25 databases to aid students with their researching needs. Each campus provides learning spaces with wireless access, charging lockers, group and individual seating, resource and equipment checkout, and helpful staff.
The library media specialist and technology integrator introduce and reinforces informational technology and 21st century skills through classroom instruction, individual help, and staff development.
The libraries are open before school at 6:45 a.m. South library is open daily until 3 p.m. and north library is open each day until 3:30 p.m.
