What is Public School Open Enrollment?
Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parent to apply for their children to attend public school other than the one in which they reside, provided space is available.
When can parents apply?
Open enrollment application dates for the 2025-26 school year are February 3 - April 30, 2025 at 4:00 PM.

Applications will be processed starting on May 1, 2025.
Who needs to apply?
All students who live outside of the Arrowhead Union High School district including students who are currently attending one of our 7 feeder schools under the open enrollment program. Once your open enrollment application has been approved, you will not have to reapply for future years.
When will the number of open enrollment seats be determined?
Nonresident school boards are required to designate regular and special education spaces available for the next school year at the January board meeting.
What is the alternative application procedure?
The 2011 Act 114 established an alternate application procedure which allows students to apply for open enrollment at any time during a school year if certain criteria are met. The alternate open enrollment application must be submitted during the school year in which the pupil wants to begin attending school in the nondistrict school district.
