Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society is a national organization for high school juniors and seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of Social Studies. The goal of Rho Kappa is to promote the study of the Social Studies, but to also promote the activities associated with the values of the Social Studies such as citizenship, appreciation of the past, and a sense of community.
Students who meet the qualifications may apply for membership in the spring of their sophomore or junior year.
Activities
This is a student directed club and a variety of activities will be chosen by the membership in the fall of each school year. In the past, Arrowhead’s chapter has hosted a Veteran’s Day breakfast, collected Teens for Jeans, participated in field trips and promoted This Day in History.
