Philosophy
The Arrowhead Hawkettes Dance Team is a varsity level competitive dance team. We strive to promote the pride, success and tradition established by Arrowhead High School. As ambassadors to our school, we aim to provide a positive image both on and off the field. We seek excellence in performing for our school, providing community service as well as competing at the state level. The success of this team is due to a strong commitment from the team members, parental involvement and experienced coaches.

Commitment
The Hawkette Dance Team is a manageable commitment. Dance is a team sport, and attendance is important. Many dancers balance studio dance as well as the Hawkette team. Dancers will attend an overnight dance camp during the summer and participate in choreography sessions and practices. Exact summer schedule - TBD. School year practices are held on Wednesdays and Fridays right after school from 3-5pm. Hawkettes host an annual Youth Clinic night at the start of the Varsity Football season. Dancers perform under the Friday Night Lights during our Varsity Football home games in fall. Over the late fall/winter, Hawkettes begin their competition season. The team will perform at select basketball games and compete at WACPC Southern Regionals in hopes of advancing to State. Our season ends with our annual team banquet celebration. The season is filled with lots of team bonding and fun. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
