Mike Breaker is no stranger to coaching at Arrowhead High School. For the past 39 years, athletes have witnessed his dedication, determination and knowledge. Since 2000, the girls golf program has become a dynasty under his leadership, earning three WIAA State titles (2001, 2013, 2016). The 2016 championship team set a new state record with an opening round of 308, and then their total score of 624 was the second-lowest score in state history and was 51-strokes better than the runner-up team. Along with the team, Mike had the pleasure to coach Emily Lauterbach who became the first individual state champion in AHS history.
Mike’s AHS golf teams have made it to State 15 times, including 14 years in a row. Mike was named Coach of the Year in 2001, 2013, 2014 and 2016.

Besides golf, Mike has also been an AHS assistant coach for football, girls golf and wrestling, plus he was the freshmen boys golf coach for 21 years.
