As a sophomore, Clint Chapman started his track and field career with just one event: The high jump. That year, he placed 4th in regionals. As a junior, Clint literally jumped into the record books. At the first meet of the season, Clint broke the school record with a jump of 6’7” and continued to improve to a best of 6’10” at the outdoor conference meet. He also started to compete in the triple jump, and in the second meet he broke the school record, and almost every meet after that, he improved from 41’10” to 44’2”. He was a State Champion both his junior and senior years.
Clint earned a scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As a Badger, he competed in the high jump and was part of the Big Ten All-Conference team for the outdoor 2003 season.
After graduating from Madison with a B.S. in mechanical engineering, Clint went into the plastic injection molding business. He currently works as a processing engineer for a medical molding facility in Lake Geneva, WI.
