Being fast is in her blood. While her last name is synonymous with running and cross-country at Arrowhead, Jackie Mulrooney paved her own path as a Warhawk and dominated in both sports. From setting course records to earning All-State honors and being named Team Captain, Jackie put together quite an impressive runner’s resume. Here are her high school accomplishments:

In addition, with Jackie leading the way, the AHS cross-country team was State runner-up in 1999 and placed third in 2001. Jackie also accomplished a lot in the classroom, capturing a 3.75 GPA, plus she was a member of the National Honors Society and received the Kohl’s Scholarship Award.
Following her successful journey at Arrowhead, Jackie took her running shoes to UW-Madison where she earned 2nd-team All Big Ten, before transferring to UW-Platteville where she ran cross-country and track. As a Pioneer, she earned All-American honors, set school records, was named Conference Champion, earned the Team Captain title and much more.
As many of you know, Jackie’s dad is Arrowhead Hall of Famer Mike Mulrooney. She attributes much of her success and passion for running to growing up in the track and cross-country world with her dad. Jackie was a teacher in the Lake Country area before taking on a new role as a life coach (aka Stay at Home Mom). She still enjoys running and participates in some local races.
