John Herrmann
John Herrmann played football at Arrowhead from 1981-84. Considered by many as the best lineman to ever play for the Warhawks, John captured numerous honors, including:
- Four-year letter winner
- 1984 High School All-American
- First football player at AHS to be named AP All-State two years in a row
- 1983 First-Team All-State Offense
- 1984 First-Team All-State Offense and Defense
- 1984 Wisconsin Player of the Year
- Top 50 recruited high school football players in America
As a top recruit and 6’4”, 255 pounds, John received a scholarship to play football for the University of Michigan, where he was a two-time Pre-Season All-Big 10 and Pre-Season All-American selection, and Honorable Mention All Big Ten UPI. He lettered three times for the Wolverines and was a member of the team that played in three Rose Bowls, one Fiesta Bowl and one Hall of Fame Bowl. In addition, he was 6th on the team in tackles, 2nd in tackles for a loss and was named Defensive Champion four weeks.
After college, John helped coach at the University of Michigan and the Arrowhead freshman team.
Now living in Utah, John’s career has recently been in real estate and custom home building.
